International Recognition

With nearly a century of global outreach, Quota International has captured the attention of U.S. presidents, celebrities, corporations and international organizations. Quota International appreciates the work of its volunteers:

  • U.S. President Calvin Coolidge requests that Quota International relocate its headquarters from Buffalo, NY to Washington, D.C. - 1927
  • Quota International becomes a member of the Council for Better Hearing and Speech Month in the United States with regular meetings at the White House and on Capitol Hill - 1980s 
  • UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and actress Audrey Hepburn writes to Quota International applauding its work in Bhutan - 1991
  • The United Nations association honors Quota International's We Share Foundation with the Blue Ribbon Award for its Club-to-Club World Service and Volunteers in Action initiatives - 2000
  • Siemens, Inc shows its support for Quota International by donating several hundred thousand dollars worth of hearing aids through its Sound Beginnings Children's Hearing Aid Programs - 2008
